Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution with Hydrocortisone is an over the counter (OTC) external ear medication for dogs and cats designed to treat acute and chronic inflammation caused by bacterial, viral, and yeast infections.
Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution with Hydrocortisone contains a three level enzymatic system of activation. The enzymes; lactoperoxidase, lysozyme, and lactoferrin - are combined to deliver a powerful antimicrobial formula.
Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution with Hydrocortisone should not be used on irritated or broken skin. Instead, use Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution without hydrocortisone if these conditions are present.
