Description
Cosequin Regular Strength (RS) capsules are designed for use in smaller dogs. It has an exclusive formula of three ingredients: chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine hydrochloride and manganese ascorbate.
Cosequin Double Strength (DS) capsules and chews are designed for larger dogs. It has the same exclusive formula containing three active ingredients: chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine hydrochloride and manganese ascorbate.
These ingredients have been scientifically formulated in Cosequin RS and Cosequin DS to support and maintain your pet's joint health. Cosequin RS and Cosequin DS work to maintain joint cartilage structure while simultaneously inhibiting the enzymes that break down joint cartilage. Cosequin RS and Cosequin DS capsules and chews can be given by mouth or be opened and sprinkled onto the food.

Cosequin RS Dosage:
Initial Dose (4-6 wks)
10 lbs or less: 1/2 capsule daily
11-24 lbs: 1 capsule AM & PM
Maintenance Dose
10 lbs or less: 1/2 capsule every other day
11-24 lbs: 1 capsule per daily
Cosequin DS Dosage:
Initial Dose (4-6 weeks)
10-24 lbs : 1 capsule daily
25-49 lbs: 1 capsule AM & PM
50-100 lbs: 2 capsule AM & 1PM
100+ lbs: 2 capsule AM & PM
