Description
Advantage II is a once a month, non-prescription (OTC) topical flea treatment for dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older. Advantage II contains the added ingredient "pyriproxyfen" which is an insect growth regulator (IGR).
Advantage II features:
-kills ALL flea life stages
-prevents fleas from infesting the home
-stops biting fleas in three to five minutes.
-starts killing fleas in an hour.
-is for dogs and puppies seven weeks of age and older.

Application: This product kills 98-100% of the fleas on the dog within 12 hours. On dogs up to 20 lbs, apply to the skin along the back between the shoulder blades. On dogs 21 lbs or over, apply the contents of one tube to 3 or 4 spots on the skin along the back from the shoulder to the tail. Do not get this product in the pet’s eyes or mouth.
Animal Safety: Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately.
Special Precautions: Consult with your veterinarian before applying Advantage on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals.
This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin. Call the poison control center if swallowed. If exposed to the skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If exposed into the eyes, flush with plenty of water.
